CAMERA WHORE

So my camera has been acting up. But very soon, with my Christmas money and (sadly) my savings, I will be buying a pretty new one. But I thought today I would do a twist on PhotoBooth pictures and add some fashion to them so I could show you my witchy outfit as well as the new chain-hand-things I made today.

I recently went to San Francisco with my family. I just wandered around the de Young Gift Shop and while I was there and came upon the work of Ralph Eugene Meatyard. Hello! So today I went to the lovely town of Sacramento with Anna and our moms. She was nice enough to take some pictures of me, how kind. This outfit reminds me a lot of Peter Pan, with the coat and floofy shirt...very Captain Hook-esque. Speaking of Peter Pan, I realized that I haven't showed you my tattoos, seeing as I now have four. So sad. I'm not even 19 yet and I have four. BUT ANYWAYS. This is my Peter Pan one:
This quote came from the only official authorized sequel to Peter Pan--Peter Pan in Scarlet. The quote was "Courage is the thing. All goes if courage goes!" It was a quote that really stuck with me and has guided a lot of my decisions. So now I figured I would show you the beautiful chapter art from this book. Clearly I am never going to grow up. I'm still blogging about Peter Pan.

Well hello there! This is just a little outfit I whipped up today. Winter sunny days are so beeeeautiful for lighting. I just die. I have missed blogging so much. I'm on Tumblr a lot, but it's not the same. So I have successfully finished my first quarter of college at UC Santa Cruz. I took my very first photography class, which has gotten me very excited for my future. ON A STUPIDER NOTE: My camera literally refuses to autofocus. So once this poor student gets some money, I will be buying a new camera.

So, good things have been happening lately. Went thrifting, got this dress. Bought the new Bon Iver CD, cried for days. Also, these are the shoes I wore to prom and I love them. I never posted prom pictures....Hmm. Maybe I'll do that. Wanna see them?
